Participation in the ETRAN 2024 conference

At the Faculty of Electronics of the University of Nis, 3-6. June of this year, the LXVIII ETRAN conference and the 11th international IcETRAN conference were held.

Jovo N. Jelić, Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the Project Management Sector, Delta inženjering doo Belgrade, presented his work by invitation entitled “Renewable energy sources: From Tesla’s vision to the contemporary perspective of sustainable development and exploitation.”

In this paper, an account of Tesla’s research in the field of multiphase alternating currents and their application in the production, transmission and distribution of electricity, as well as his visionary considerations of using renewable energy sources presented through various articles and lectures in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, is given. Through the presentation itself, the author presented to the present audience the development of the application of renewable energy sources, from Tesla’s pioneering considerations to the present day in the light of sustainable development and the harmony of the coexistence of man and nature.
