The Flue Gas Desulphurization Plant in TENT A Was Put into Trial Operation

The flue gas desulphurization plant at the Nikola Tesla A thermal power plant was put into trial operation on April 25, 2024.

This is the largest environmental project in thermal power plants both in Serbia and in the region. Almost 215 million euros have been invested in the project.

The ceremony was attended by Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Đedović Handanović, Minister of Environmental Protection Irena Vujović, Parliamentary Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan Yasuši Hosaka, a delegation from Japan, as well as representatives of EPS JSC headed by acting general director Dušan Živković.
