Ceremonial Commissioning of the Petka Solar Power Plant

On Monday, July 14, the Petka Solar Power Plant (SPP Petka) officially entered trial operation, marking a significant step toward a more sustainable energy future.

With the presence of the Minister of Energy, numerous officials, and representatives of the Investor, the symbolic launch of the system marked the beginning of capacity testing of this modern solar power plant.

SPP Petka will help reduce carbon dioxide emissions while ensuring a stable energy supply for the wider region. Delta Inženjering made a significant contribution to the realization of this project. The construction of the solar power plant was realized according to its project, and during the construction, the execution of the works was controlled by Delta Inženjering’s professional supervision.

The trial operation of SPP Petka will last for one year, during which the designed parameters of the power plant will be proven, and after that, it will receive the Certificate of Occupancy, which will achieve significant energy and environmental goals.
